Sharks Fish & Chicken opened its De Queen doors to a line out the counter and a room that stayed full. The name is a fry-house name people already knew. The kitchen is the part we care about.

Catfish fillet, catfish steak, nuggets, tilapia, frog legs, jumbo shrimp, whole wings, boneless wings, tenders. It all goes in the fryer when you order it, which is why the counter asks for a few minutes at lunch. That wait is the whole point.

The Sevier County Chamber of Commerce brought the big scissors, KDQN 92.1 broadcast from the dining room, and De Queen families filled every table. For a restaurant three weeks old, that is the whole review.
